ps: i'm reading interviews/entrevistas (by probably one my top 5 favorite writers, gloria anzaldua, and edited by analouise keating), and even in the introduction there's lots of good stuff, among which this great quote by patricia hill collins: "... passionate rationality flies in the face of Western epistemology that sees emotion and rationality as different and competing concerns... [D]eep feelings that arouse people to action constitute a critical source of power." (it perfectly sums up something i've been thinking about a lot, lately.)
