one hundred percent empowerful

ah, the good old onion. i've said it before, i'll say it again... much as i hate irony sometimes and in certain flavors (i won't specify which), at other times, even if flimsy, it's the only thing that will cut through the fog a bit:
"women now empowered by everything a woman does"
(not to say that liberal feminism is anything to aim for... but still. even (post-) third wave feminists have to wonder if some people aren't arguing precisely that they're "empowerful" just because they say they are and it doesn't really matter if they actually are. does it hold up because we're so postpostmodern?)
